Reverse Mortgages
A reverse mortgage is a type of home loan that lets individuals aged 62 and older convert a portion of the equity in their home into cash. The Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) is FHA’s reverse mortgage program. You must meet with an HECM counselor first to discuss eligibility and requirements.
